 I middelalderen var det en vær ung mands drøm at blive slået til ridder.
Før det kunne ske, skulde de dog igennem en lang og hård opdragelse.
Allerede som 7årige begyndte de at lære om Ridderlighed, ære, heraldik, ridning og selvfølgelig kamptræning.
Det at kunne svinge et sværd var en central del af uddannelsen og noget det kunne betyde liv eller død på slagmarken.
